I have been unable to find any tasting notes or clarification of the blend. Do you have any more specifics?
Here is some more info on the Oro:
60% Chardonnay
20% Riesling
15% Semillion
5% Gewurtztraminer
”Floral but fruity characteristics give the impression of sweetness but only .36% RS”
92% stainless steel and 8% oak

Lenny’s class last night inspired me. I am tempted to make fresh Thai green curry mussels.
Roger and I picked up a pack of Aidell’s chicken and apple sausage to throw on the grill.

Join us in a virtual tasting of Desert Wind Winery release of 2009 Oro. In addition we will be opening up their:
Viognier
Chardonnay
Sauvignon Blanc
Merlot
We will do our regular ”pair and share” format where guests bring a dish to pair with one of the wines. The grills will be available and we will be dining ”al fresco”
I will be making a grilled apricot arugula salad that might work with the Viognier and/or Oro
